Stripburger #84: Wordless Again!

Quest'anno Stripburger si concentra sui fumetti muti, dedicando loro due interi numeri. Le parole sono stampelle del fumetto, direbbe Jim Woodring, o anche pigrizia, Nicolas Presl farebbe una smorfia, e molto inutilmente canterebbero i Depeche Mode. Dopo l'83° numero senza parole, l'attuale 84° numero presenta la seconda parte della nostra selezione di fumetti senza parole, con i contributi di molti nuovi talenti e nuove scoperte, oltre ad alcuni amici familiari delle nostre pagine. Anche se questi fumetti sono senza parole, non devono essere per forza silenziosi! Le immagini sono così suggestive, vivide e forti che ci parlano senza bisogno di parole, attirandoci in realtà nuove, diverse e spesso sorprendenti
Siamo rimasti sorpresi ed entusiasti dalla varietà e molteplicità di narrazioni mute a fumetti che hanno risposto alla nostra open call "Shut up and Draw!" - tanto da riempire anche Stripburger #84

This year, Stripburger focuses on silent comics, dedicating two entire issues to them. Words are crutches of comics, Jim Woodring would say, or even laziness, Nicolas Presl would pull a face, and very unnecessary would sing Depeche Mode. Following the wordless 83rd issue, the current 84th issue presents the second part of our selection of wordless comics, featuring contributions from many new talents and fresh discoveries, as well as some familiar friends from our pages. While these comics may be wordless, they don’t have to be silent! The images are so striking, vivid, and loud that they speak to us without the need for words, drawing us into new, diverse, and often surprising realities
